For the last 10 years, Procurement Australia has been working collaboratively with our Travel solution partner FCM to ensure that we are always bringing value and service to our members.

We are always eager to touch base with our valued members, to keep you up to date with what is going on in the travel industry.

1. Virgins' Velocity Pilot Gold Membership

Whether it's avoiding the queues with Priority Check-in and Priority Boarding or relaxing with a cup of coffee in one of the Virgin Australia Lounges or selected airline partner lounges - you'll enjoy a number of Velocity Gold membership benefits on your exclusive trial of Velocity Pilot Gold.

2. Qantas Airtime Punctuality

Qantas customers had more on time flights and fewer cancellations in January than in the same month pre-COVID, making the national carrier the most punctual major domestic airline for five months in a row.

The improved performance was helped by a $200 million investment to roster additional crew, train new recruits and keep up to 20 aircraft on standby that were called upon to reduce delays and cancellations.

3. Hertz Special Access to 20% off Electric Vehicles

To encourage Hertz customers to try their Electric Vehicle (EV) rental for perhaps the first time, Hertz are offering to provide your organisation with special access to their EV discount.

An automatic discount of 20% off your regular contract pricing, will apply for all EV rentals picking up between January 1st to March 31st 2023.

4. Qantas Extension to Flexible Booking Options

To make things as easy as possible for you and your employees to use your travel credits, Qantas has extended the flexible booking mechanism, known as the travel credits commercial policy and used by your TMC, until 31 March 2023.

As part of their travel credits initiative, Qantas has simplified and relaxed fare conditions for tickets issued prior to 1 October 2021, and have extended those relaxed conditions for reissued tickets until 31 March 2023.
