Gordon has extensive experience in developing frameworks, processes and governance ensuring world class procurement outcomes are achieved. He is recognised as a thought leader within procurement, and a sought-after speaker, writer and presenter.

Jacqualyn Turfrey, a proud Palawa woman is Haven Home Safe’s Chief Business Services Officer. Jacki ensures our service areas are set up to achieve greatest impact and leads the organisation’s risk, compliance, procurement, finance and governance practices.

Jacki brings a diverse range of experience to Haven Home Safe – Jacki is a practising barrister, has lead negotiations on behalf of the Yawuru Native Title Holders in WA, established the Koori Women’s Diversion program during her time as Director of the Koori Justice Unit with the Department of Justice. Jacki was also CEO of a large Regional Aboriginal Health Service, leading that organisation through a major governance and financial reform agenda. Jacki was also Director for Treaty with Aboriginal Victoria and started the critical work that led to the establishment of the First People of Victoria Assembly.

Noel Irwin

Noel brings over three decades of logistics experience, with a specialisation in Procurement since 1998. His extensive career spans various sectors including government, heavy industry, services, outsourced procurement, universities, utilities, and education. Since 2009, he has been deeply involved in Local Government, working directly in councils and as a consultant. Currently, Noel holds the position of Procurement Manager at Melton City Council, recognised as Australia’s fastest-growing council. Under Noel’s leadership, his team won the Procurement Australia Award for Collaborative Procurement, and Noel won the Procurement Australia Jacinta Bartlett Award for Individual Excellence.

Judi is a fifth-generation farmer of dry cropping and livestock from Wooroonooke. She served in the Royal Australian Navy for 21 years, receiving a Conspicuous Service Medal. After leaving the Navy, she held various procurement roles before becoming the Procurement Coordinator at the City of Ballarat. Judi values networking and knowledge-sharing among procurement practitioners in the Local Government community.

Annalisa Nyers is Head of Procurement at Casey City Council, which she joined in 2019 as Procurement Governance Officer, and where she has recently led the transformation of the Procurement team and function. Prior to joining the local government sector, Annalisa spent a decade in various positions at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in Canberra, working on high value complex procurement processes for the Australian Aid Program and leading the Commercial Analysis and Strategic Sourcing section in procurement policy development and reform activities and supplier engagement. Prior to joining DFAT, Annalisa held procurement roles at the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) in Sydney.

As an entrepreneur she brings a high level of business acumen, commerciality and EQ to compliment her leadership. Anu is a keynote speaker, frequently invited to industry forums to share her thoughts on leadership, talent, strategies for amplifying success and empowering to unleash the untapped potential.

 

She is currently the Managing Director of Procurement at PwC. She has 20+ years’ corporate experience (the last decade focused on Procurement) working across top and mid-tier consulting, telco, financial services, health care and government.

Steve is the founder of Close the Loop, now part of ASX listed ‘Close the Loop Group’ (CLG). Steve’s role in the new group is Head of Circular Economy.

Steve is a pioneer of circular economy systems thinking and the inventor of eWood, Tonerplas, and two (2) other recycling technologies for complex waste streams.

Close the Loop was a finalist in ‘The Circulars’ awards by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in 2019, and a recipient of one of the first ACE (Australian Circular Economy) Awards in 2022.

She also spent more than 10 years with Melbourne Water, where she played an integral role in improving their strategic direction and sector leadership outcomes.

Gwyneth is passionate about channeling her values into her professional practice, motivating her to work towards better environmental and social outcomes.

Florian Van Den Corput

Florian is the Senior Advisor Circular Economy at Sustainability Victoria, an Industrial Design Engineer by education and a specialist in developing circular solutions from concept to implementation.

With experience in consultancies, industry and multiple levels of government, Florian’s expertise lies in using design thinking to build bridges between strategy and execution. 

Within the Victorian Government he helps identify gaps and opportunities, advises on policy and program design, and develops solutions to accelerate our transition to a circular economy.

April Williams is the Circular Economy Champion at Monash City Council and one of the Sustainability Victoria Buy Recycled Champions. With over 12 years of local government experience in waste projects, service delivery and behaviour change, April now works to transition Monash Council and their community to a circular economy. Current Monash projects include Repair cafes, clothing swaps, a reusable nappy program, a Circular Economy Action plan, the Circular Economy Leadership Program (on behalf of 13 Councils) and an internal working group looking at Procurement improvements to achieve circularity.
